Semenggoh Orang Utan Hands-on Experience
Here’s a tour that gives you the opportunity to be involved in the rehabilitation works as a crew member. Be part of the conservation team and enjoy helping the rangers with their daily routine at the orangutan centre.
Tour Itinerary
Scheduled experience
Pick up from your hotel at 0730hrs and proceed on an approximately 40-minute drive to Semenggoh Orangutan Centre. Upon arrival, you will receive a briefing from the park ranger on the rules and regulations. After that, the park ranger will lead you to the storeroom where the orangutans’ food is prepared.
Here, you will have the opportunity to lend a hand in the food preparation process. When everything is ready, proceed to the feeding platform to observe and feed the orangutans. In the afternoon, enjoy lunch at a local café.
