Mount Trusmadi Trekking
Mount Trusmadi is the second-highest peak in Malaysia. It stands at 2,642 meters above sea level and offers a truly raw and authentic jungle trekking experience. The mixture of lowland and high montane forests creates rugged, steep, and physically demanding terrain. As it is located in a remote and largely undeveloped natural area, the difficulty level is often considered higher than that of Mount Kinabalu.

Scheduled experience
The day begins with a pick-up from your hotel. We then proceed on an approximately 2-hour drive to Tambunan, where we will have lunch. Our journey continues with another 2-hour drive to Sinua Village, where Camp 1 is located. After dinner, we call it a day.

Scheduled experience
Rise and shine! The adventure begins today as we gear up for the trek to Camp 2. The trek will take approximately 4–5 hours to complete, depending on your fitness level.
The trail will take you through lush rainforest scenery, mostly on uphill terrain. Spend the rest of the day at Camp 2 relaxing and re-energizing for the big quest tomorrow.

Scheduled experience
Wake up as early as 2am and begin your trek to conquer the summit of Mount Trusmadi. As the elevation increases, the forest type also changes. You will start to see more high montane trees and pitcher plants.
Be careful, as the trails can be slippery at this level. Enjoy a breathtaking sunrise at the peak of Mount Trusmadi. Spend some time taking photos before we trek back to Camp 2.

- The trail is physically challenging. Please ensure you are in good physical condition to trek. In fact, it is highly recommended to undergo medical check-up. If you have the following ailments, we suggest that you refrain from this activity. (Heart disease, Arthritis, Diabetes, Hypertension, Chronic asthma, Muscular crams or any other diseases that may affect climbing ability.)
