Arrival in Kota Kinabalu

Island hoping at Tunku Abdul Rahman Park

Meet your guide at the hotel lobby and begin your journey to Sutera Marina Jetty. From the jetty, enjoy a scenic 20-minute boat ride across the sea to the beautiful Tunku Abdul Rahman Park. Spend the day relaxing and exploring two islands within the marine park, where you can enjoy swimming, snorkelling and sun bathe. Depart the island at 1430hrs and return to the mainland.

Kota Kinabalu - Kinabalu Park - Kundasang

Embark on a two-hour journey through the countryside of Sabah. On clear days, enjoy breathtaking views of Borneo’s iconic Mount Kinabalu from various vantage points along the way. Stop at the Pekan Nabalu market, where you can browse a variety of local handicrafts and souvenirs. Continue to Kinabalu Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and enjoy a guided nature walk through the Botanical Garden. The park is home to more than 4,500 species of flora and fauna, including many endemics to Borneo. Weather permitting, explore one of the park’s trails and experience the cool, refreshing montane forest.

Kundasang – Poring Hot Spring – Sandakan

Check-out and proceed Poring hot spring after breakfast. Upon arrival, trek up to the Canopy Walk, built at 41 metres about the ground and 157 metres length. After that, feel free to soak yourself in one of the open-air sulphur spring bathtubs (fee not included). After lunch, we continue our journey to Sandakan. If time permits, we will have a short stop at Moroli River, Luanti for a delightful fish spa. Overnight in Sandakan.

Sandakan – Kinabatangan River

Pickup from your hotel. Head to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. There, you'll be treated to an enlightening video show about the conservation efforts done at the centre. Take a ten-minute walk to the feeding platform to witness the feeding of the orangutan. You will have the opportunity to watch them again at the outdoor nursery. After that, head to the Sun Bear Conservation Centre next door to learn more about the smallest bears in the world. Depart for an estimated 2 hours land or boat journey to one of the lodges in Kinabatangan River. Enjoy an evening river cruise in search of Borneo's wildlife and birds.

Kinabatangan River

Wake up as early as 0600hrs for the morning river cruise up the Kinabatangan River to oxbow lake to view more birds and wildlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast. In the afternoon, proceed for another river cruise for more wildlife.

Kinabatangan River – Sandakan – Kuala Lumpur

Return to Sandakan by land or boat. After lunch, we will drop you off at Sandakan Airport to catch your flight to Kuala Lumpur. Upon arrival at Kuala Lumpur Airport, our driver will meet you upon arrival and then transfer you to your hotel.

Kuala Lumpur Heritage Discovery

Kuala Lumpur is often called a cultural melting pot because of its harmonious blend of Malay, Chinese, Indian, and other indigenous cultures, which create rich historical and cultural values in the city. To experience this diversity, we will explore several landmarks that represent each heritage. One of them is Masjid Jamek, one of the oldest mosques in Kuala Lumpur. A short walk leads to Merdeka Square, where Malaysia declared independence in 1957. Sin Sze Si Ya Temple is the oldest Taoist temple in Kuala Lumpur, built in 1864, representing the early Chinese community in the city. The influence of Chinese culture can also be experienced in Chinatown along Petaling Street, a lively area known for its street markets, restaurants, and traditional shops. The Indian community’s heritage can be seen at Sri Maha Mariamman Temple, the oldest Hindu temple in the city. Indian culture is also reflected in Little India Brickfields, an area filled with traditional clothing shops, spice stores, and Indian restaurants. Another famous Hindu site is Batu Caves, where visitors can climb 272 colorful steps to reach the temple inside a limestone cave and see the giant golden statue of Lord Murugan. Together, these landmarks highlight the multicultural identity and rich heritage of Kuala Lumpur. Finally, we will end the tour with lunch at a local restaurant before driving you back to your hotel. For small group, this tour will be done by foot and train. Visit to Petronas Twin Tower can be arranged for additional fee.

Kuala Lumpur – Kota Bahru – Perhentian Island

Transfer out to Kuala Lumpur Airport to catch your flight to Kota Bahru. Upon arrival at Kota Bahru Airport, we will meet and transfer you to Kuala Besut Jetty. From here, you will take a boat transfer to Perhentian Island. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Perhentian Island - Departure

Today, we will leave Perhentian Island by boat transfer to Kuala Besut Jetty. From here, take the land transfer to Kota Bahru Airport to catch your flight to your next destination.
